a quick image dump for you! i have started a tumblr about 2 weeks ago called Thursday which is acting as my blog right now. eventually i’ll choose between the two and will only have one blog. but just in case you are following this blog, know that the tumblr will end up being where I post my work! i’ll also change the link on my site here too, but i’m waiting to see if i can work out all the kinks on my tumblr for making it official! thanks for dropping by! <3

i made a comic about me and Bigby and our relationship. if you’re thinking about getting a dog, know you will never have your own personal space again. luckily, mine is really cute and will get away with all forms of bothering me.

i drew my dog while experimenting with colors in photoshop. now back to real work!

i’ve been working real hard to try out some new stuff to get nicer and fuller illustrations. here’s my first practice piece and it’s all digital too! click image for full view.

Below is my insane palette picking process. i wish i could explain it to you, but i just can’t. all i know is that the colors i initially start out with, are never the ones i really want! (i started with the top left then ended with the bottom right.)

and my final colors all flatted out below – SO much better than my first choice of colors. i like how it almost looks like a cel.

i think everything turned out so great! this whole project has been a ton of fun and quite the learning process. it feels good to have my first colored comic printed out, and by someone else too! can’t wait for the next.

when i started this one i was devastated, it looked awful. but watercolors have this way of working out, like they fix themselves. i think i just need to trust them, or myself. either way, i really like how this turned out. Happy Valentine’s Day!

i joined this little Mortal Kombat “Immortal” Fanart Project thanks to Mike and Will!

i picked Motato, because i thought he would be challenging. i need to practice more dudes anyways! i made him more centaur like unlike his original design – some kind of cricket-lizzard-horse-man. and his MK3 sprite walked slightly feminine so i made him more manly in the horse area! i was trying out hard black shadows and the ink job is a little overworked but at least he looks like a dude. click the image for full view man horse.
