Mortal Kombat Immortal Fanart Project
i joined this little Mortal Kombat “Immortal” Fanart Project thanks to Mike and Will!
i picked Motato, because i thought he would be challenging. i need to practice more dudes anyways! i made him more centaur like unlike his original design – some kind of cricket-lizzard-horse-man. and his MK3 sprite walked slightly feminine so i made him more manly in the horse area! i was trying out hard black shadows and the ink job is a little overworked but at least he looks like a dude. click the image for full view man horse.
Fanart Friday – Bruce Banner
i finally did a Fanart Friday piece! i picked Bruce Banner – i watched the animated Hulk vs. Thor (or was it Thor vs. Hulk?) last night and couldn’t help but feel that Dr. Banner always gets the short side of the stick. The Hulk reaps all the smashing glory and mega punches all of his troubles away. Bruce wakes up in jail, captive by a nemesis, or hitchhiking on the road, all the while sporting a ripped up stretched out pair of pants. His life sucks, while The Hulk’s is awesome. Poor guy. Will did The Hulk.

another in my haunting series. i’m going to submit the two i’ve already done out and see how well they do. the fox piece got some nice reactions at APE!
APE was awesome! i want to thank everyone for stopping by and for everyone’s support! i hope to have a table again next year – it was totally different from the other cons i’ve done. it was also one of the most difficult to walk through, so many colors, so many things i wish i could buy. plus, i love San Fran and my friends that live there, so any excuse to visit, i’ll gladly take up. here are the only photos i took with my phone – one day i will get a nice camera and make more of an effort to document our adventures. any suggestions?
