animal troopers
i went off on this tangent where i wanted to make some pixel art (and possibly some models) for actual characters or things that look like they would be in a game – and now i can’t stop drawing them! they were heavily influenced by Cornelius from the game Odin Sphere. i love his design, so i’m trying to play with that idea. this is just my first wave, so i still need to tweak them some more. plus, it’s really hard to dress them! i have to figure out if it’s possible to give them shoes, pants, or both. i tried to look at tarutaru (FFXI) for clothing inspiration, while their costumes are great they’re just tiny and not animal enough. but i think looking up more bangaa (FFTA) stuff will be more helpful since they have similar legs.
